Our History

1967 Established in Taipei, Taiwan.

1972 Commencement of issuing “Zion Tours Monthly”, the first travel periodical ever published by a travel agent in Taiwan.

1973    Initiation of “FORMOSA HOLIDAYS COUPON” to promote national F.I.T. Tours; Winner of the award given by the Government Tourism Bureau.

1986    Initiation of the “Zion Tours” TOURISM SCHOLARSHIP to be offered once a year.

1993    Built up “NEW TAIWAN TRAVELLER” (NTT) concepts through the emphasis on the “VALUE’, “QUALITY”, “RELIABILITY” and “INNOVATION” into the travel industry.

1994    Winner of “The Travel Agent of the Year Award for Taiwan” awarded by the TravelNews Asia.

1995 - 1999    Winner of seven golden awards on travel products during five successive years.
   
1998    Honored as one of the best agent in management by the ISO 9001 quality assurance accrediting system.

1999    Winner of the Best National Touring Program awarded by the Government Tourism Bureau

2001    Offered as the Partner Office in Taiwan by the American Express Travel Service Network International.

2002    Winner of “The Travel Agent of the Year” awarded by the Travel Com.

2004    Awarded as “The 5th Friends of Thailand Award” category “Int’l Tour Operators” by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

2006    Awarded by Lufthansa Airlines as the “Excellent Partner in 2006”.
